King Abdulaziz University has launched the “1447H Directors Development Program” under the slogan:
“Adeer… A Will That Makes a Difference.”
The initiative was launched by the Office of the Dean of the Female Campus, in collaboration with the Center for Human Capacity Development, on October 29, 2025, at the King Faisal Conference Center.
The program is part of the university’s commitment to institutional excellence and the professional development of women leaders. It aims to equip 60 department heads and their deputies with values-based leadership skills, grounded in research, motivation, and clear objectives.
“Adeer” offers a practical experience focused on data-informed decision-making and smart leadership. Its vision is to serve as a model for modern administration that integrates values and knowledge for sustainable impact.
The launch event featured an overview of the program, a trainer recognition ceremony, a workshop titled “Strategic Skills for Institutional Excellence”, and a presentation on the Adeer Performance Scorecard.
The eight-week program consists of nine specialized courses delivered by university experts. Topics include:
• Strategic leadership for institutional excellence
• Emotional intelligence in leadership
• Good governance in administration
Participants also receive training in:
• Protocol and etiquette
• AI for data analysis
• AI applications in media
• Digital-era leadership
• Event protocol and PR
• Crisis management in public relations
Graduates will earn the title of “Adeer Leader”, demonstrating measurable leadership skills.
Dr. Lina bint Omar Sadiq, Dean of the Female Campus, emphasized that the program reflects the university’s vision for empowering women in leadership, aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. It aims to instill responsibility, strategic thinking, innovation, and a future-ready leadership mindset capable of turning strategic plans into real-world results.
